Acupera is a San Francisco-based provider of population health and workflow technology for health systems. Its integrated clinical analytics and workflow platform mines data from EHRs, medical claims, lab results and devices to evaluate patient populations and generate care plans addressing clinical and behavioral gaps. The system supports both population- and patient-level strategies for managing care. Acupera's platform is deployed at St. Vincent Medical Center, a 22-hospital system in Indianapolis. Led by CEO Ronald Razmi, the company plans to use the new capital to scale its product development team and expand its customer implementation group. Financially, Acupera secured $4m in Series A financing from Lightspeed Venture Partners and The Whittemore Collection.
