Ademus designs and manufactures electric motorcycles in its Toul (Meurthe‑et‑Moselle) workshops under the Medusa brand. Founded in 2020 by Arts et Métiers engineer Thomas Salquebre, the company emphasizes sensory riding experiences and has developed a controllable, disconnectable mechanical‑style sound for its bikes. It completed initial prototyping to demonstrate disruptive technical systems that differentiate its motorcycle from competitors. Ademus plans to accelerate prototype road testing, offer its technologies to actors in the automotive value chain, and expand its team. The company recently closed a €600,000 fundraising and is supported by Yeast, Groupe ILP, Bpifrance, Région Grand Est, Caisse d’Epargne and local business angels. Management says the next fundraising will target homologation and industrialization of the motorcycle and its technologies.
