Adenyo (formerly Silverback Media) provides a mobile platform with four technology offerings: mobile marketing and ad serving, mobile storefronts, mobile coupons and payments, and mobile analytics. The platform enables agencies, brands and mobile network operators to create marketing campaigns via a web-to-cloud (SaaS) model independent of applications, distribution and mobile devices. The company has operations in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal in Canada, Dallas, Texas, and offices in Paris and Aix-en-Provence in France. Adenyo secured US$26.9M in financing to support its growth. Management says the funding will be used to accelerate its international expansion. The company also appointed Dennis Kavelman to its board of directors.
