Adsum, founded in 2020 and based in London, provides cashflow solutions that calculate and advance funding for UK tax receivables including VAT, Creative Industries and R&D tax credits. The company uses an in-house technological solution to auto-calculate VAT, R&D and creative industries tax credits and refunds, removing the need for tax consultant work. After calculating entitlements, Adsum offers a credit line that customers can draw against and that is repaid by their tax credits and refunds. The company can provide capital in as little as twenty-four hours, enabling users to grow quickly. Founders Justina Tartilaite and Freddie Digby built the business with early additions Ben Rodgers and Shreeya Arora to develop the technical and product teams. Financially, Adsum raised $5m in funding and had established institutional credit facilities at the end of 2021.
