Aesop Technology is a Taiwan- and US-based digital health startup that develops AI-powered clinical decision support and medical coding products. Its RxPrime product detects wrong-drug errors and provides real-time, patient-specific recommendations without disrupting clinical consultations. DxCode acts like a virtual data scientist, mining medical records to identify proper codes and speed inpatient coding workflows. Aesop spun out of Taipei Medical University and builds on a decade of work by Professor Yu Chuan (Jack) Li to reduce medication errors. The company moved its headquarters to San Francisco, launched two apps in the Epic App Market, was accepted into Mayo Clinic Platform_Accelerate, and published a paper with Harvard demonstrating portability of its model at U.S. hospitals. It plans to use the new funding to expand into the U.S. market and strengthen its tech team.
