Founded in 2016 by Tim Møller Hansen, Agile Automotive develops and manufactures lightweight sports and race cars in Denmark. Its flagship model, the Agile SCX, has achieved type approval after several years of design and development. The company uses state-of-the-art carbon-fiber composite materials to produce lightweight race cars. Agile is privately owned by founder Tim Møller Hansen, Lysdal Capital A/S and other local investors. Recent financing from StartupBoost and local backers totaled 2 million kroner and will be accompanied by the establishment of an advisory board to help set the company’s direction. The fundraising followed a pitch process and meetings with investors that emphasized the brand’s design, approvals and technical capabilities.
