Agrotools offers remote analytics for agribusinesses, analyzing more than 1,300 layers of data to monitor suppliers, customers and rural territories for operational risks, opportunities and ESG compliance. Its product set includes support for rural finance, rural insurance, raw-material purchases, input sales, capital markets and retail. The company says it has analyzed over 4.5 million rural territories, monitors over $3 billion in commodities, supports more than $10 billion in rural finance portfolios and oversees roughly $20 billion in agribusiness operations via its platform. CEO Sergio Rocha said the company grew 16x in the last six years and tripled in size during the pandemic. Planned uses of the latest funding include geographic expansion into the U.S., Latin America and other regions and technology development in AI, blockchain, gamification, satellite data and technology democratization. Agrotools has pursued strategic partnerships (including with ESRI) and is pursuing acquisitions, having acquired a digital platform from Argentina for weather-risk management and corporate risk assessment.
