AHIMAS aggregates local operator expertise into a single network and offers Internet, television, fixed and mobile telephony nationally via partners (Yoigo and Orange) while owning broadband infrastructure such as fiber and WiMax. The company focuses on rural areas with competitive pricing and highly personalized service to help close the digital divide in towns under 20,000 inhabitants and aligns with Spain's Agenda Digital Rural. The group comprises 12 local operators and engineering/infrastructure firms, reaches more than 250,000 housing units, has over 350 points of sale and has built infrastructure delivering over 240,000 services since launching activity in 2016. In 2018 AHIMAS reported revenue of €38.2 million and an EBITDA of €10.5 million; for the current year it forecast revenue of €71.5 million and an EBITDA of €24.3 million (a projected 131% increase). The company aims to reach 1.2 million households by 2020 to expand its rural coverage and continue growth.
