ALBA Robot
Corso Ferrucci, 112, Torino, Piemonte, 10138, Italy
Overview
Founded in 2019 by Andrea Bertaia and Giacomo Moiso, ALBA Robot offers a technology platform that orchestrates fleets of autonomous vehicles to transport people, objects and data inside pedestrian areas. Over the past 18 months the company has completed eleven paid pilot projects, two of which have already converted into commercial services with two more slated to go live by year-end. After validating its technology in major international airports, ALBA aims to transition from a pure technology provider to a full mobility service operator and position itself as the 'Waymo of pedestrian areas.' Its 2026 roadmap includes launching a new generation of intelligent robots designed with leading Italian studios, introducing premium passenger services, and rolling out advanced data-sharing platforms. International expansion is underway with a presence at Newlab Detroit and the formation of a Delaware C-Corp to support U.S. production. The new capital bolsters the company’s plan to scale these initiatives. Prior to the current Series A, ALBA Robot raised a €2.6 million seed round in 2023.
