Alfa Medical Group (AMG) is one of Egypt’s largest healthcare providers, comprising 140+ medical labs, six radiology centers and a 170‑bed hospital, with two further hospitals and the Alfa Medical City under construction. Its core services are diagnostics, radiology and hospital care delivered through brands including Alfa Scan and Alfa Laboratories and the El‑Safa hospital. The group traces its roots to El‑Safa hospital founded in 1977; Alfa Scan and Alfa Laboratories were established more than 25 years ago. AMG is expanding its laboratory and radiology footprint into underserved regions and broadening its hospital capacity to increase access to quality care. The group is establishing the Alfa Academy to upskill AMG employees and third‑party healthcare staff and raise standards of patient care. AMG recently secured a major equity investment to finance this expansion and capability building.
