Alpen High Performance Products designs and manufactures high-performance windows, doors and architectural glass, including thin glass insulated glass units (IGUs), Winsert secondary glazing, and fiberglass and uPVC window and door systems. The company has implemented automated manufacturing capable of producing thin glass IGUs with insulating performance up to R15 and has begun third-party sales of those IGUs to other North American manufacturers. Over the past two and a half years Alpen reported more than 50% growth and sales of its Winsert and commercial windows have increased more than fourfold. It says it has transitioned from a bespoke manufacturer into a national brand with a scaled and standardized product suite and has professionalized its sales organization. Alpen has also invested in engineering, customer success, and IT teams to support production scale and customer service. The company is based in Louisville, Colorado.
