AmpMe’s core product synchronizes music and video playback across unlimited iOS and Android phones and tablets to create a single, amplified listening experience. The free app supports YouTube, SoundCloud and users' personal music libraries and can synchronize with Bluetooth speakers. Since launching in September 2015, AmpMe has achieved more than 2 million downloads. The company added YouTube as a streaming source to broaden listening and viewing options and plans further streaming integrations. AmpMe says it will use funding to hire talent, invest in product development and the underlying technology, and secure strategic partnerships. The app is available on iOS and Android and is based in Montreal, Quebec.
