Anima is a Malmö-based startup that develops Kronaby, a connected analog watch. Kronaby is available in four analog models and pairs with a mobile phone to control music, trigger phone cameras, and save locations. The watch alerts wearers to phone notifications via vibration and includes a silent alarm. Anima has begun launching Kronaby in the U.S. The company recently secured external funding of €1 million from Chinese component manufacturer Goertek. Founder Sarandis Kalogeropulos said the team aimed to participate in the next digital transformation around the internet of things.
