Animated Dynamics develops patented bio-dynamic imaging technology called Motility Contrast Tomography (MCT), a form of digital holography that measures kinetic activity at the nanoscale within living tissue. Its technology quantifies the phenomic signature of tissue in three dimensions and measures response to stimuli over time. The company’s Onco 4D™ test for phenomic chemotherapy selection is expected to become clinically available during 2017. Animated Dynamics intends to use the new funding to accelerate commercialization of its imaging technology, which is patented through the Purdue Research Foundation’s Office of Technology Commercialization. The company has previously received over $1 million in grants from the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health and others. Leadership and technical founders are drawn from Purdue University, including co‑founder and chief scientific officer David Nolte and other company executives and technical leads.
