In April 2017 Celgene became a founding partner and obtained an equity position in Antengene. Antengene is a Chinese clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing novel oncology therapeutics. Its pipeline includes five clinical-stage products ranging from Phase 2/3 to NDA stage, led by ATG-008 and ATG-010 (selinexor). ATG-010 is being developed for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma, lymphomas and solid tumors, while ATG-008 is in a multi-regional trial enrolling late-stage HCC patients in Taiwan, South Korea and mainland China. Two other candidates, ATG-016 and ATG-019, are in Phase 1/2 studies across multiple cancer types including MDS, colorectal and prostate cancers. ATG-527 completed a Phase 1 trial and is being explored for multiple antiviral indications including influenza, RSV and EBV-related diseases. The company intends to use recent proceeds to advance lead programs and other clinical-stage assets, expand its pipeline via internal R&D and external partnerships, and prepare commercial launch of late-stage candidates.
