AppEnsure provides an Application Performance Management (APM) platform that delivers end-to-end visibility of IT topology and data flows to ensure application performance in virtualized and cloud environments. The technology is positioned to give IT the means to predictably manage operations, control SLAs, and deliver required performance for business-critical applications. AppEnsure emphasizes "application performance insurance" for dynamic virtualized and cloud computing environments. The company gave its first public product demonstration at DEMO 2012 and plans to deliver its first fully integrated product to customers. AppEnsure was selected by a panel during the Startup.Synergy Challenge and received strategic support and resources through the Citrix Startup Accelerator. CEO and founder Colin L.M. Macnab said the investment and Citrix's strategic help will enable the company to introduce the product to customers.
