Aptadel Therapeutics, based in the Parque Científico de la Universidad de Barcelona, develops a new generation of RNA‑conjugate molecules (ApDC) aimed at selectively attacking Ewing sarcoma tumor cells. Its lead drug candidate, ADEL‑101, has shown promising activity in cell-based studies and animal models, including tumor localization and antitumor effects. The company plans to use upcoming financing to complete regulatory studies and move into first clinical trials, with a targeted Series A of €9 million in preparation. Financially, Aptadel recently closed a €2 million bridge round with Newsight Tech Angels and Little Warrior Foundation, and received a €450,000 AECC IMPACTO grant in 2025; Little Warrior Foundation had previously invested €480,000. Aptadel positions its technology as potentially reducing side effects and improving efficacy versus current intensive treatments, and intends to expand its platform to reach more pediatric patients.
