AQ Metrics offers a cloud-based integrated risk management, regulatory compliance and surveillance platform that handles data preparation through to regulatory reporting for financial services. Its platform enables EU and non-EU investment firms to track investor activity, orders, executions and holdings from pre- to post-trade, receive risk alerts and notifications of compliance breaches, and access a team of industry specialists. The company serves clients across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the UK, Germany and Ireland. Founded in 2012 and based in Dublin, AQ Metrics closed its first external funding round of $3.25m. Backers included Frontline Ventures, Bluff Point Associates and Enterprise Ireland, and the firm plans to use the funds to hire 30 roles in Ireland within 12 months and establish a New York office within six months.
