Overview
Aquicore offers a cloud-based smart building platform that enables commercial real estate portfolio and property teams to remotely monitor energy and facilities and transform operations and maintenance routines. The system links on-site action with financial, energy and operational outcomes to help executives and property teams understand building performance, prioritize investments, coordinate project execution, and measure impacts across a portfolio. The platform is currently deployed with commercial real estate leaders at more than 1,000 commercial buildings nationwide, optimizing more than 275 million square feet of real estate. Led by founder and CEO Logan Soya and based in Washington, DC, Aquicore will use its newest funding to continue advancing its cloud platform. The company also intends to use the funds to expand into the European market. To date, Aquicore has raised a total of $33m in capital. Aquicore offers comprehensive energy analytics and automation solutions for commercial real-estate, delivering a scalable cloud-based platform to deploy, collect and analyze real-time electricity, water and gas data. The platform includes robust data visualization and a full-stack building portfolio solution designed for owners, managers, engineers and sustainability teams to operate more efficiently. Aquicore's technology is deployed in over 500 buildings and its client roster includes Vornado, Under Armour, and Lincoln Property Company. Founded in 2013 by Logan Soya, the company positions itself as an emerging leader in uniting the connected environment. Aquicore says it will use new funding to bring more ambitious innovations to market and expand in an impactful, deliberate way for current and future customers. The company recently completed a fundraise that management expects will support product development and sales growth. Aquicore offers a building energy analytics platform, automated utility invoicing, meter management tools, and complementary hardware to read and compile utility and submeter data in real time. Its solution automates data collection and delivers actionable intelligence to building owners, managers, engineers, and sustainability teams. The company reports its technology is deployed in over 500 buildings across the United States and has grown its team from five members at launch to 28. Aquicore says bringing disconnected meters online could save an estimated $40 billion annually and reduce nearly 30% of unnecessary consumption. With the new capital, the company plans to continue expansion into key U.S. markets and reach additional stakeholders responsible for building operations.
