Archeon is a Besançon‑based company that develops smart ventilation devices, notably the EOlife system for emergency ventilation. EOlife assists manual ventilation in cardiorespiratory arrest by measuring and analysing respiratory variables in real time to deliver adequate oxygen while avoiding hyperventilation. The EOlife solution has been marketed since early 2020 directly and via a distribution network and has seen adoption by emergency professionals. Archeon is also developing PulmonAIR, intended to be the first fully automated emergency ventilator for managing respiratory distress, and plans to expand its device range for pre‑hospital and hospital uses. At the time of the announcement the company had a team of 17 people and intends to create additional R&D and marketing jobs. The company plans to use new funding to accelerate access to international markets, including North America.
