ArrayPatch is a biotech spin-out from University College Cork that engineers dissolvable microneedle patches composed entirely of the drug being delivered. Its proprietary DerMap platform enables pain-free, targeted delivery through the skin, addressing conditions that are difficult to treat with conventional topical or oral formulations. The company’s lead asset, ITZ-DerMap, administers itraconazole directly to the nail bed to treat onychomycosis, a large and under-served market. Funds from the current raise will be used to move ITZ-DerMap into clinical development and establish proof-of-concept data. Looking ahead, ArrayPatch is adapting the same platform for additional indications such as skin cancer, diabetes, weight loss and migraine. The startup has augmented its capital base with non-dilutive grants and has won several accolades, including the 2025 InterTradeIreland Seedcorn Investor Readiness Competition, the 2023 IDEATE Ireland competition and Innovation of the Year at the 2022 Irish Pharma Awards.
