RxRevu is a Denver, CO–based prescription decision-support company led by CEO Carm Huntress. Its core product, SwiftRx, brings patient-specific data from pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) into electronic health records (EHRs), displaying accurate, real-time coverage and benefit details. The platform helps providers prescribe lower-cost medication options and reduces prior authorization volumes and downstream administrative work. The company said the new funding will be used to develop the SwiftRx platform and to expand personnel and technical capabilities. RxRevu closed a $7M Series B that brought total investment in the company to $28M. The financing was led by JAZZ Venture Partners with additional investments from existing strategic health system partners. RxRevu provides a platform and a suite of Prescription Decision Support tools that help healthcare professionals make more informed prescribing decisions. Its tools consider a patient’s medical history, individual insurance coverage and the out-of-pocket cost patients will pay at their preferred pharmacy. The platform also enables health systems to holistically manage and measure clinicians’ prescribing performance. The company is led by co-founder and CEO Carm Huntress and is based in Denver, Colorado. RxRevu raised $15.9M in a Series A round and intends to use the funds for continued growth. In conjunction with the funding, Toby Cosgrove, M.D. and Richard Zane, M.D. joined the RxRevu board of directors. RxREVU provides medication cost and quality prescription optimization solutions that help patients and payers identify cost-saving opportunities on prescription drugs. The company offers its solutions through web and mobile consumer applications. Its healthcare customers include health plans, employer groups and population health organizations. RxREVU is led by CEO Carm Huntress and Chief Medical Officer Kevin O’Brien, M.D. The company is a member of the StartUp Health Academy and has announced partnerships with Yingo Yango, Medullan and Medical Home Exchange. Those partnerships deliver patient-engagement solutions to millions of combined users.
