Ash Games Studio, founded in 2022, develops action-adventure and top-down roguelite games rooted in Saudi stories, history and traditions. Its debut/commercial release was Azooma Escape, a comedic stealth adventure released in August 2025, which the team is considering adapting for mobile if controls allow. The studio revealed a trailer for its second title, Nomad: The Legend of Zarqa, a top-down action roguelite based on ancient Arabian folklore featuring a protagonist whose arrows can be guided mid-flight. Led by founders Anas Bakhsh, Yaser Alahmadi, and Saud Bakolka, the team aims to build story-driven, culturally authentic games that can compete with leading independent studios globally. The company recently raised $1.5 million in seed funding co-led by Merak Capital (Merak Gaming Fund) and Impact46 to support its ongoing projects and growth plans.
