Assail develops Ares, an agentic offensive AI platform that spins up to 100 coordinated AI agents to probe APIs, web, and mobile assets, compressing vulnerability discovery and remediation from weeks to minutes. The system is powered by a proprietary 14-billion-parameter model fine-tuned on offensive tactics and continuously improves by generating its own synthetic training data. Assail has open-sourced an Ares Docker Agent so enterprises can run the technology behind their firewalls, and the full SaaS platform is slated for general availability on February 1, 2026. Since a keynote debut at ISC2 Security Congress 2025, more than 264 organizations have registered for early access, and pilots are under way with Fortune 100 manufacturers, U.S. federal agencies, financial institutions, and leading hospitals. The company was accepted into the NVIDIA Inception program, giving it access to NVIDIA’s startup network. Financially, Assail has raised a $250,000 pre-seed round led by Squared Circle Ventures and secured $100,000 in AWS cloud credits to fund compute-intensive development and deployment.
