Atidot provides a SaaS predictive analytics platform that leverages artificial intelligence, machine learning and predictive analytics to help life insurers and annuity writers make data-driven business decisions. Its platform uses underused and often neglected sources of data as well as open-access information to enhance existing actuarial and business models. The company is led by CEO and co-founder Dror Katzav, with Martin Snow newly added as Vice President and Chief Delivery Officer. Based in Tel Aviv, Atidot raised $5M in a Series A round led by Vertex Ventures with participation from existing investors The D.E. Shaw Group, Moneta Seeds and Bank Hapoalim. Emanuel Timor, General Partner at Vertex Ventures Israel, is joining Atidot's board in conjunction with the financing. The funds will be used to scale operations and expand U.S. sales and customer support activities, and to grow actuarial science, data science and software engineering teams.
