Atlas Motion designs and develops specialized Brushless DC (BLDC) motors and high-power-density actuators engineered for defense platforms. The company prototypes and designs hardware in Long Beach and mass-produces systems out of a facility in the Philippines. After emerging from stealth, Atlas Motion raised $11.5M to support manufacturing expansion and operational growth. Planned uses of the capital include opening a second manufacturing plant in the Philippines, building its “Vector” AI production line orchestration software, expanding headcount to roughly 60 employees, and establishing a dedicated U.S. facility to serve domestic defense customers.
