Atomized is building a modern infrastructure-automation platform that plugs into a developer’s GitHub repo and their cloud account, currently AWS, to spin up containers, databases and static sites with minimal manual effort. By automating these tasks, the company aims to reduce the 20%+ of developer time typically spent on provisioning infrastructure. The product is in beta and already supports 60 customers who are running workloads on the service. Future plans include adding support for additional clouds such as Azure and Google Cloud Platform and abstracting away the complexity of choosing among providers.
