Augmented Intelligence

185 Wythe Avenue, 2nd Floor, Brooklyn, New York, 11249, United States

Overview

Augmented Intelligence (AUI) is the developer of Apollo-1, billed as the world’s first neuro-symbolic foundation model expressly designed for task-oriented conversational AI. Unlike large language models optimized for open-ended dialogue, Apollo-1 fuses symbolic reasoning with neural perception to deliver deterministic, policy-adhering task execution—enabling enterprises to build reliable agents for bookings, payments, cancellations, and other high-stakes workflows. The technology has been in development for eight years under co-founders Ohad Elhelo and Ori Cohen and is already deployed inside Fortune 500 organizations, with broader general availability to be announced after current pilots. AUI struck a strategic go-to-market alliance with Google in 2024 and continues to recruit aggressively to expand its 45-person team. Financially, the company has now raised nearly $60 million, most recently closing a $20 million bridge SAFE at a $750 million valuation cap. Earlier, it secured a $10 million round in September 2024 at a $350 million valuation cap. Early backers include eGateway Ventures, New Era Capital Partners, Redwood Capital’s Chris Varelas, Vertex Pharmaceuticals founder Joshua Boger, UKG Chairman Aron Ain, and former IBM President Jim Whitehurst.
