Autify
1390 Market St Ste 200, San Francisco, CA, 94102, United States
Overview
Autify offers Autify NoCode, a platform aimed at improving efficiency for developers and QA teams that rely on manual testing, particularly in Japan and South Korea. It recently launched Zenes, an AI agent (currently in beta for U.S. customers) that generates and maintains automated test code from product requirement documents. The company claims Zenes cuts time to create test cases by 55% and supports uploads in multiple document formats. Autify plans to use new capital to add more AI capabilities across its QA product suite and to expand market reach. The startup says it serves customers in 16 countries and counts B2B and B2C clients such as DeNA, NEC, NTT Smart Connect, Yahoo and ZoZo; headcount has grown from 30 in 2021 to about 100. Autify was founded in 2016 and operates from San Francisco and Tokyo. Autify offers a no-code, AI-powered platform that automates software testing for web and mobile, letting non-developers and developers create, execute and maintain tests without programming. Its core features include cross-browser and multi-device parallel testing, AI-driven auto-repair of test scenarios, and visual regression detection. Autify for web launched in October 2019 and the company recently launched Autify for mobile to manage native app testing without requiring real device farms. The platform is designed to address developer shortages and reduce maintenance costs while improving QA productivity. Autify serves B2C and B2B SaaS customers including Unity, DeNA and ZOZO across Japan, the U.S., Singapore and Europe. The company is fully remote with 30 employees and plans further global expansion, focusing initially on the U.S. and Japan. To date Autify has raised $12.2 million in total funding. Autify provides a no-code testing platform that lets teams record interactions with a Chrome extension and run those tests across multiple browsers and mobile devices. The product uses machine-learning to make tests resilient to UI changes so they don’t break when designs shift. It supports IE, Edge, Chrome and Firefox on macOS and Windows, plus a range of iOS and Android devices, and integrates with TestRail, Jenkins, CircleCI and Slack. The company targets enterprise customers that struggle to hire automation engineers, positioning the product for use by developers and non-developers alike. Autify launched a closed beta in March and is testing with about a hundred companies. The team splits its base between an office in the U.S. and Japan, where co‑founders Ryo Chikazawa (CEO) and Sam Yamashita started the company.
