AVK has operated for 37 years delivering mission-critical prime, standby and dispatchable power solutions and recently completed energisation of a large-scale data centre microgrid at PureDC in Dublin. The company employs nearly 400 people across ten hubs in the UK and Europe and is supported by its Haydock manufacturing facility in the North West of England. With the Partners Group investment, AVK plans to scale an Energy-as-a-Service model to fund, develop, own and operate on-site power solutions including microgrids. Management reports a pipeline of over 2GW of projects that the company intends to deploy under the new financing. CEO Ben Pritchard retains a significant shareholding and the existing leadership team remains in place as AVK expands its pan‑European offering.
