Ayu Health acquires specialty hospitals and rebrands them to create a network of hospitals. Founded in 2019 by Himesh Joshi, Arjit Gupta, and Karan Gupta, the startup currently works with more than 70 hospitals across Bengaluru, Chandigarh, NCR, and Jaipur. The company emphasizes high-quality patient outcomes, transparent pricing, and world-class patient experience. It plans to scale to over 200 hospitals and 10,000 beds by December 2022 and is targeting 10X growth by the end of 2022. Funds from the latest round will be used to expand the hospital network and develop technology for patient experience, insurance processing, efficient procurement, and clinical quality management. The founders previously sold their firm Zefo to Quikr and are positioning tech-driven in-hospital care as a core differentiator.
