Batmaid is an online booking platform for home, end-of-tenancy and commercial cleaning services and is part of the Batgroup 360° cleaning solution. Led by founder and CEO Andreas Schollin-Borg, the company operates from Lausanne and maintains offices in Zurich, Lugano, Warsaw, Paris, Milano and Luxembourg. Since March 2021 it has offered biodegradable cleaning products via a Batmaid Club subscription and in June 2021 launched a pilot laundry and cleaning service called Batmaid Dry in Lausanne. The company employs around 200 staff and works with roughly 4,000 salaried cleaning agents who serve over 70,000 customers throughout Switzerland. Batmaid intends to use new funding to support international expansion into 21 cities across 15 countries.
