Bayshore Networks provides industrial cyber protection technology for Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications, offering visibility into Operational Technology infrastructure and protecting ICS systems, industrial applications, networks, machines, and workers from cyber threats. Led by CEO Mike Dager and based in Bethesda, MD, the company partners with firms such as Arista, AT&T, BAE, Cisco, Dell, SAP, VMware, and Yokogawa. It closed a more than $11M Series A venture capital round that brought total funding to $15M. Benhamou Global Ventures led the investment, with participation from Trident Capital Cybersecurity, Yokogawa, and Samsung Next. In conjunction with the funding, Anik Bose, General Partner at BGV, joined Bayshore’s Board of Directors. Bayshore intends to use the funds to grow go-to-market channels and further develop its industrial cyber protection platform. Bayshore Networks offers a cloud-based software platform called the Bayshore IT/OT Gateway that provides IT teams visibility into OT infrastructure, networks, applications, machines and workers. The platform enables security enforcement, application segmentation and isolation via flexible policies. Founded in 2012 and led by CEO Mike Dager, the company has strategic alliances with AT&T, BAE Systems, Cisco Systems and VMware. Bayshore intends to use new funding to complete the relocation of its headquarters from New York City to Bethesda, Maryland and to invest in R&D. It also plans to expand its engineering and sales teams. The company raised $6.6M in Series A financing to support these initiatives.
