BBS Network is a Singapore-based decentralized Web3 public network of user-run online message boards and a SocialFi project led by founder and CEO Eyal Hertzog. The platform mints every post into an NFT to enable value transfer and employs an NFT bidding model that lets anyone purchase the ad-space real estate of any post at transparent prices. BBS uses a native token to reward creators, curators and other stakeholders, and revenue generated by the platform is shared across ecosystem participants in a fully automated, transparent and market-driven manner. The company raised $1.5M in seed funding to support its development. The investment will enable BBS to focus on building and launching new features such as a native app, a search engine and cross-BBS authentication. Binance Labs led the round with participation from Digital Currency Group, Polychain Capital GPs, Node Capital, NFX and DAO Maker.
