Be-Energy operates a 1,300 m² facility in Avignon where its 17-person team regenerates or reconditions lead, lithium, NiMH and other batteries for clients ranging from automotive fleets to JC Decaux’s advertising panels. The company has developed proprietary equipment, including its patented PTS 800 lithium battery machine that will be showcased at CES 2025, and a lead-battery tester capable of running seven diagnostics in seven seconds while feeding an AI-driven knowledge base. With 2024 revenue of €2.3 million, Be-Energy already reaches 52 countries through licensed sites and subsidiaries, and it is rolling out master-franchise agreements in markets such as India. Domestically, management plans to open five company-owned regeneration centres in Paris, Nantes, Lille, Lyon and Toulouse by 2026, creating roughly 15 new jobs. The firm believes regenerated batteries can match new units in performance at half the cost, addressing a vast, environmentally driven market that spans vehicles, e-bikes, construction tools, backup generators and urban street furniture.
