Beep.tech began as an IoT service provider focused on enabling cashless transactions for vending machines. In 2021 the company launched its Voltality platform, and its VoltNet service is operated on top of that platform. VoltNet is designed to enable interoperability across different electric vehicle charging networks. According to the company, operators do not need additional integration with the Voltality platform and do not need to develop proprietary charging apps. Beep recently completed a $3.3M Pre-A financing that was oversubscribed. The round included participation from both new and existing investors.
