Founded six months ago, Belidor.ai has built an artificial-intelligence platform that turns disparate construction documents—such as estimates, blueprints and cost sheets—into structured, comparable data. The product replaces the manual bid-leveling work that can consume up to a week each month for general contractors, cutting the task down to a few hours while maintaining analytical precision. Its ‘native’ AI is trained specifically on construction projects and continually improves through learning from past jobs. The company aims to broaden the technology beyond bid leveling to the entire pre-construction phase, encapsulated in its longer-term “prompt-to-building” vision where a project brief could yield validated plans, materials and teams within days. Belidor.ai is currently expanding its technical team in Paris while targeting U.S. general contractors from Utah to New York. To date, it has raised $3.1 million in pre-seed funding to accelerate product development and market entry.
