CarGlass is a San Francisco–based technology company founded in 2014 by CEO Stanley Yuan that connects drivers to content and information. Its core product, Otto Radio, creates personalized playlists of news and podcasts based on users' interests and the length of their commute. The company also launched TryPod™, a podcast sampling feature designed to accelerate discovery of new shows. Otto Radio launched on October 5, 2015 and has served almost 400,000 news stories and podcasts; the app is free on iOS and an Android version was scheduled for release in Q2 2016. CarGlass raised $3M in funding and intends to use the proceeds for new hires, product development and U.S. expansion.
