Its total funding before this round and after this raise is $47 million. BetterCloud provides management and security software for cloud-enabled organizations, with FlashPanel as its flagship cloud-based directory management and enterprise security application. FlashPanel gives IT administrators added controls, visibility, and automation. It is installed by over 22,000 companies and has 14 million users worldwide. The company is led by founder and CEO David Politis and also has offices in Atlanta, GA. BetterCloud plans to expand FlashPanel beyond the Google Apps suite, beginning with user management and security features for Salesforce.com and later integrating with Zendesk and other systems. The company intends to use new funds to grow its engineering teams to accelerate Google Apps functionality and build integrations with other cloud platforms.
