Founded in 2020, BGauss designs and sells electric scooters that incorporate AI-enabled systems, IoT integration, fast charging and low-maintenance features. The company reported 5,518 retail registrations in July 2026, roughly triple year-on-year growth, and held about 0.3% of India’s electric two-wheeler market that month. BGauss faces competition from startups like Ather and River Mobility as well as established OEMs such as Ola Electric, Hero MotoCorp, TVS Motor and Bajaj Auto. Its recent financing history includes Rs 52 crore raised in April 2022 and $18.6 million from Bharat Value Fund in January of the prior year. The latest Rs 110 crore Series D CCPS raise, at an implied post-money valuation near Rs 1,000–1,100 crore, is intended to fund scaling of operations, product strengthening and geographic expansion.
