Founded in 2024, Bharat Intelligence deploys an artificial-intelligence platform that matches horticulture farmers with timely, skilled labour, addressing India’s acute farm-labour shortage. The system is built to work within rural trust networks, providing workers with steady, dignified employment and farmers with predictable access to crews. More than 22,500 farmers have already been onboarded as shareholders through partner Sahyadri Farms, giving the community direct governance influence via a board seat held by Chairman Vilas Shinde. With the ₹7 crore pre-seed capital, the company will deepen product development and expand across Western Maharashtra’s grape, banana, tomato and pomegranate belts. Future product road-maps include embedded commerce and financial services so both farmers and labourers can transact on a single platform. The emphasis on immediate, visible impact has shaped data collection, AI training pipelines, and user experience to fit the cultural context of India’s physical-first rural economy.
