Biomotum is a Portland-based wearable robotics company that develops exoskeleton devices to promote mobility for people who have difficulty walking. Its exoskeletons are positioned to assist with rehabilitation. The company won $300,000 at the Angel Oregon Life and Bioscience grand final event in Portland. Four finalists pitched at the event, where Biomotum emerged as the winner. The program was sponsored by the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network, the Oregon Bioscience Incubator, and other partners. The Angel Oregon Life and Bioscience fund is funded by contributions from 25 angel investors, the Oregon Growth Fund, and the Oregon Community Foundation.
