Biotech One, founded in 2022 and based in Marseille, develops supercritical CO₂–based processes including extraction, micronization, encapsulation and sterilization, centered on its EncapX continuous millifluidic encapsulation system. EncapX is presented as a patented system (patent filed in 2025) for producing nanoliposomes with an asserted 80% reduction in solvent consumption versus conventional methods.
