Bislab has developed a platform for credit and risk assessment that it says is significantly more accurate than incumbent solutions. The company counts customers such as Intrum, Tietoevry and BankID-selskapet Stø. Founders Martin Holten and Ole Kristian Haug report that their technology has helped clients reduce the number of credit-check rejections by over 60% without increasing risk. The startup plans to use new capital to expand across the Nordics and to build a larger technology organization, with a likely doubling of headcount during the year. Management says the raise will provide enough runway to reach profitability, though the near-term focus remains on growth rather than profit.
