BlockSec is a blockchain security company founded in 2021 that provides a platform to enhance the security of decentralized applications by detecting high-impact blockchain vulnerabilities and blocking sophisticated attacks. Its core product is a real-time on-chain monitoring system that can intercept ongoing attacks and has rescued more than 5 million assets, including 3.8 million for the stablecoin DEX Saddle Finance. Since last year the company has provided security audit services to more than one hundred clients across both Solidity and Rust ecosystems. BlockSec also maintains public tools widely used by the blockchain security community, including a flash loan monitoring system and a transaction visualization system. The company closed an $8M Seed Plus funding round co-led by Vitalbridge Capital and Matrix Partners, with participation from Mirana Ventures, CoinSummer and YM Capital. It intends to use the funds to expand its research and production teams and to provide its on-chain monitoring and attack interception capabilities to more decentralized applications. BlockSec focuses on protecting blockchain ecosystem security across the full life cycle of smart contracts, blockchain regulation, new cyber crimes, and architecture security using privacy computing. The team has launched a multi‑chain smart‑contract trading online analysis platform, a lightning‑loan online detection platform, and an anti‑money‑laundering tracking platform. The platform has also integrated the Farcaster protocol. BlockSec says its products help projects improve security levels and facilitate blockchain supervision and governance. The company plans to use the newly raised capital to support team building and new product research and development. BlockSec was founded in May 2021.
