Bloomup is a Marseille-based cosmetics company co-founded in 2010 by Sophie Blin and Carol Ann Lovera. It has developed product lines including “Energie Fruit” shower gels with flavors such as blackberry, wild mint, jojoba, vanilla lily, caramel, guarana or ginseng, as well as “Mon Petit Paradis” and “Dermtec Color” for the French market. The company also distributes Physicians Formula in the USA and Baby Foot in Japan. Its products are available in major retail supermarkets, drugstores and online via BloomupShop. Bloomup raised €3.5m from ACG Management and will use the funds to expand operations. The company is backed by Amundi, Paca Investment and Sofipaca and planned to reach a turnover of €5m in 2016.
