Blue Lice develops technology aimed at eliminating salmon lice affecting aquaculture. The company was founded under the X2 Labs accelerator in Stavanger in 2017; Karoline Sjødal Olsen is founder and CEO. Petter Stordalen's Strawberry first invested later that year. Blue Lice has secured NOK 13 million in fresh capital in the latest financing round. Strawberry led the round, existing investor Ekko Invest participated, and SeaGrow and Westcon joined as new owners. With the new funding the company plans to pursue new customers, further develop its technology, and prepare for international expansion; the company did not comment on pricing or valuation.
