Blueprints was founded by former University of Limerick students Ryan Morrissey and Bence Redmond after they met in UL’s immersive software engineering programme. The company operates a prediction-market style platform where users predict future events and the system decides when to buy or sell assets such as company shares based on those forecasts. The idea developed during Morrissey’s internship at Stripe and the founders have since left UL to work on Blueprints full-time following investment. Blueprints received six-figure funding from NDRC and additional investment from Y Combinator. The articles do not provide revenue, user, or valuation figures.
