BluPine Energy develops and operates renewable energy projects, focusing on utility-scale wind and solar assets. The company was established in India in 2021 by Actis and pursues partnerships with corporates as power consumers. Its current project pipeline includes a 75 MWp solar plant in Chhattisgarh being built in partnership with APL Apollo Building Products. BluPine recently secured INR 239 crore in debt financing for that project, aligning its financing strategy with ESG and net-zero goals. The solar plant is expected to generate roughly 117 million units annually and offset more than 107,000 tons of CO2 each year. BluPine has an existing relationship with Tata entities, including a prior successful wind energy project.
