Co-founder Dan Lambert says the company is focused on building a new ecosystem for medical education; the platform receives hundreds of feedback notices every week to keep content up to date. The company has trained over 30,000 doctors and is used at about 150 institutions. BoardVitals aims to move medical board test prep — and ultimately basic medical education — to the web. BoardVitals.com operates a 24-hour physician board review question platform with specialty banks for practicing physicians, residents, and medical students in fields including psychiatry, pathology, emergency medicine, neurology, pediatrics, cardiology, family medicine, and surgery. The platform allows users to create customized practice tests and provides detailed up-to-date applications for each answer. Led by CEO Daniel Lambert and CMO Andrea Paul, the company said it will use new funding to further expand its question banks. Financially, the company announced a $500K seed financing to support that expansion. The reported seed backers remained unnamed. The company is NY-based and focused on delivering exam-preparation content to medical professionals.
